Contributing

Start with a blank or entirely fictional sheet. Do not include patient information, private correspondence or real medical records in contributions, screenshots or issues.

Describe the difficulty and the smallest useful change. Preserve date/source/uncertainty fields, the understanding-not-sign-off distinction, and the patient-support scope. Do not add treatment advice or promises of improved clinical outcomes without a separate evidence review. Mark translations as translations, identify their version, and seek native-language and user review before claiming they are ready.

Update VERSION and the shared document metadata when revising a release. Rebuild all outputs together. Inspect every page for clipping, tiny writing areas, split table rows, incorrect labels and missing footers. Test the website with a keyboard and narrow viewport. Keep printable documents legible in black and white. PDF text extraction and page counts are useful checks, not a substitute for looking at the output.
